founder

Mischaël “Misch” Cetoute is a Miami-based entrepreneur, educator, attorney, and producer whose work sits at the intersection of advocacy, storytelling, and community impact. He is best known for his work as the producing partner of the acclaimed filmmaking duo FLYPAPER, and supporting emerging artists and creators.

Misch began his career as a teacher in New York. As advisor to his school's Hip Hop Club during the emergence of rapper Pop Smoke, he witnessed firsthand the transformative impact that mentorship and advocacy can have on creative talent. Alongside his students, Misch built a recording studio in the abandoned music room, and produced their NPR national award-winning podcast, the Flossy Podcast. Shepherding his students through the experience of being broadcasted to millions and formally recognized by government leaders continues to inform his approach to producing and talent management.

Alongside the legendary Danny Glover, Misch served as Executive Producer of NEWBIES, FLYPAPER's award-winning short film, which premiered at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival, and is now streaming on the Criterion Channel. Misch is also producing The Birthday Song, FLYPAPER's forthcoming short film portraying a Black girl's thirteenth birthday on the eve of Hurricane Katrina. The project was selected as a winner of Tribeca Studios' 2025 Kickstart with Canva Award.

Beyond film, Misch works at the intersection of public policy, place-making, and community development, with a focus on historically disinvested neighborhoods. He currently serves on the NextGen Committee of Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), helping advance the museum's mission to foster meaningful engagement with contemporary art and culture.

mission

where the dreams of creatives are given form, weight, and life. Through resources carefully cultivated, relationships deeply rooted, and an unwavering commitment to the work, we shepherd creative projects from the realm of imagination into the world of film, music, television, and beyond.

manteau?

Pronounced mon-toe, the term manteau is French for mantle. It generally refers to a cloak-like garment, but it can also refer to the idea of one's calling. Famously, in the Bible when Elijah ascends to heaven he throws down his manteau for his successor, who is then able to perform similar miracles as a result. To pick up one's mantle is to say yes to doing difficult work. An artist's calling can be heavy and manteau is here to help manage that load.
